New Single, “Poor Boy” to be released soon!

We are very excited to announce a brand new Glass Ankle single. Listen below!

“Poor Boy” will be released on Monday 12th August on the Sleeper Train label, and is the first official release by the band since November 2010, making it extra special! In support, a remix has been provided by the incredibly talented London-based producer, Legomec, and a computer game has been made by indie-game developer, notrightned . Both tracks can be streamed via Soundcloud!

The song, remix and game are avaliable for purchase via Bandcamp for a price of your choosing. Money received from downloads will be donated to Action for M.E.  –  the leading UK charity for people with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (M.E.), and their carers.

M.E. is a long-term (chronic) fluctuating illness that causes symptoms affecting many body systems, more commonly the nervous and immune systems. These include intense exhaustion and muscle pain. Glass Ankle drummer/percussionist, Chika, has for the past year and a half been suffering with the disease, which has had a profound impact on her life. Because of M.E.  she can no longer perform drums: her number one passion in life! The band wish to use this opportunity to raise awareness of this  debilitating disease, of which there is still much to learn.
