A heartfelt song for my beloved football club, Macclesfield Town, who continue to be going through great hardship after having been forcibly removed from the EFL via a hefty points deduction and subsequently being ordered to wind up in the high court after accumulating a debt of £500,000. The next deadly blow that will be dealt will be expulsion from the Vanarama National League if a miracle doesn’t happen before the 12th October.

As I only finished the song a couple days a go I have only had time to record a rough demo version. The final recording will, among other things, feature more vocals in the chorus to fill it out as at the moment it is all a bit high pitched! But in the meantime you can check out the demo:

It is hoped this song can help galvanise the fans, spread awareness of the Silkmen’s plight, while also raising money for  The Silkmen Suppoters Trust to help save the club / start a phoenix club.
